We will explore its origin through history, mythology and philosophy, and examine how it has endured to this day, maintaining its freshness and spiritual value thanks to its sacred lineage. In addition, we will delve into the training of the various techniques that compose it, such as poses (Karanas), basic steps (Adavus), hand gestures (Hastas), invocations and prostrations (Slokam and Namaskaram), flexibility work and expressions (Rasas).

BENEFITS

Furthermore, the study of Bharatanatyam offers a methodology that goes beyond considering this dance simply as a physical practice to alleviate physical or psychological symptoms. It provides tools that allow us to transcend suffering and enter into the core of joy, beauty, peace and harmony.
