In honor of Navratri, the nine-night festival celebrating the multiple manifestations of Goddess Durga, we extend an invitation to participate in this sacred space, where together we will immerse ourselves in her powerful and protective energy. Navratri is a time of devotion, introspection and purification, in which Durga, the warrior goddess, manifests to eliminate obstacles and negative forces, giving us spiritual strength and blessings. During this 1 hour and 30 minute live class, we will explore the symbolism and energy of Goddess Durga through sacred dance. This encounter will be a vehicle to nurture both our artistic and spiritual development, expressing devotion, courage and protection through meaningful movements. Throughout the session, we will integrate theory with practice, connecting deeply with her divine essence. In addition, you will have access to the class material, including the recording, for six months. The purpose of this experience is to establish an intimate connection with Durga, recognizing and manifesting her protective and warrior energy through postures, gestures and emotions in dance. With the Pneuma Dance methodology, guided by Shamti Ruiz, we will delve into the deepest aspects of our being — body, mind and soul —, awakening the strength, courage and light that dwell within us. 🌿 Symbolism of Durga: Durga represents the Divine Mother, the warrior who destroys evil and protects her devotees. She is the embodiment of divine power, justice and strength.
