Service Description
They continue exploring Bharatanatyam technique. This group is at a beginner–intermediate level, with over one year of practice and having passed the foundational adavus: Tatta Adavu and Natta Adavu. In this class, students deepen their understanding of the core elements of Bharatanatyam: Adavus (refined basic steps and rhythmic coordination) Abhinaya (facial and body expression) Hastas or mudras (symbolic hand gestures) Elements of traditional choreography Physical conditioning and flexibility Each session integrates structured repetition, traditional music, mindful breathing, and focused attention to cultivate grace, strength, and presence. Through consistent practice, students develop coordination, body awareness, and expressive confidence. This is a space to refine foundations while continuing to connect with Bharatanatyam as a living tradition—discovering the body as a medium for art, storytelling, and inner connection.
